The reason for the production stoppage is "conducting safety inspections to eradicate serious accidents." Production is scheduled to resume on the 9th.
On the morning of the same day, worker A (41), who was working at Hyundai Heavy Industries Ulsan Shipyard, died in an accident. A, an employee of the company engaged in welding work, is reported to have been involved in the accident when a steel plate above the steel structure slipped down.
