The event items include five excellent agricultural products produced locally: apples, pears, Honghyeyang, tomatoes, and cherry tomatoes, as well as eight processed gift sets such as Hangwa, Cheonggukjang, pickled vegetables, and Bokbunjaju.
Products can be purchased at prices discounted by 10-20% compared to market prices, and payment methods are limited to disaster relief prepaid cards and credit cards.
The drive-thru direct transaction event is a method where buyers receive the desired products directly in their cars without getting out, to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
To minimize contact between people, walking is not allowed; customers fill out an order form while seated in their vehicles, and staff load the products directly into the trunk.
A city official said, "We expect this event to provide some help to farmers who are struggling with sales channels due to COVID-19," and added, "Consumers can purchase high-quality agricultural products at affordable prices, so we ask for active participation."
