Applications Accepted from 8th to 10th... Support Up to 40 Million Won
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Seon-gang] Nam-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City (District Mayor Kim Byeong-nae) announced on the 3rd that the application for the ‘2021 Village Community Space Creation Support Project’ for village communities in the district will be open from the 8th to the 10th, to enable residents, the main agents of village community activities, to gather in one place and continue their activities.
Eligibility for application is communities with rich experience in village community projects and the capacity to independently plan and execute projects.
Applications are open to resident councils with more than 15 residents, resident autonomy committees, apartment resident representative meetings, non-profit corporations and organizations, village enterprises, cooperatives, and others.
The selection of support recipients is expected to be finalized next month after document and on-site evaluations. Nam-gu plans to select one place and provide support within a range of up to 40 million KRW for community space remodeling, facility costs, and purchase of goods.
Applications for the project can be submitted by visiting the Resident Autonomy Division on the 7th floor of Nam-gu Office.
In addition, to help understand this project, Nam-gu has been providing consulting services on proposal writing and other support for village communities wishing to participate in the project at the Village Community Cooperation Center since the 1st.
