The newly established corporation 'CyworldZ' announced on the 2nd that it recently acquired the operating rights of the Cyworld service from Jeon Je-wan, the CEO of Cyworld.
CyworldZ is a corporation formed by a consortium of five companies, including the entertainment company Sky ENM.
CyworldZ plans to normalize the existing Cyworld service as early as March. After resuming the existing service normally, Cyworld plans to launch the 'Mobile 3.0 version' in June.
A CyworldZ official stated, "We are currently working on restoring the servers," adding, "After a maintenance period, we will return to the previous state by March."
