Renault Samsung February Special Promotion: 300,000 KRW Discount on All Models

[Asia Economy Reporter Yu Je-hoon] Renault Samsung Motors is conducting a special promotion throughout February under the theme "A New Start, Exciting Benefits."

According to Renault Samsung on the 1st, this special promotion offers an additional discount of 300,000 KRW to customers who purchase a new car across all models (except some Master models).

The benefits apply if the purchasing customer or their family members enrolled in kindergarten, elementary, middle, high school, or university (including graduate school) in 2020 (proof of 2021 enrollment also accepted), or if they started a job, opened a business, obtained a new driver's license, got married, or had a birth reported or acquired since July 2020. The family scope includes the customer's parents, spouse, spouse's parents, children, and children's spouses.

Additionally, when purchasing the mid-size SUV New QM6, benefits for options, accessories, and warranty extensions are enhanced. Customers purchasing the New QM6 GDe receive purchase benefits worth 1,500,000 KRW, and those purchasing the New QM6 LPe receive benefits worth 500,000 KRW. For example, a customer with a child who entered middle school last year and purchases the New QM6 GDe can receive total purchase benefits amounting to 1,800,000 KRW.

XM3 options and accessories purchase costs are also supported up to 500,000 KRW. XM3 TCe 260 customers can receive up to 500,000 KRW, and 1.6GTe customers up to 200,000 KRW in purchase cost support. When combining the special promotion, purchase cost benefits, and production month discounts, the maximum purchase benefit for the XM3 reaches 1,300,000 KRW. Furthermore, the interest rate for XM3 purchases has dropped to the low 2% range. Customers can purchase the XM3 with a maximum 36-month installment plan at a low interest rate of 2.9%. If the installment period is set to 72 months, the interest rate is 3.9%.

The mid-size sedan The New SM6 also offers purchase benefits worth 500,000 KRW when selecting options, accessories, or warranty extensions. For installment purchases, the TCe model offers up to 72 months at 3.5%, and the LPe model offers up to 36 months at 1.9% or up to 72 months at 2.9% low-interest financing options.

The imported compact SUV Renault Captur offers installment purchase options of up to 36 months at 2.9% or up to 72 months at 3.9%. The mid-size commercial vehicle Renault Master offers up to 1,500,000 KRW worth of accessory purchase costs or a 1,000,000 KRW cash discount when purchasing the 15-seat bus, along with a 500,000 KRW discount for choosing the Lemon Yellow color and additional special promotion benefits. In this case, the maximum purchase benefit for the Renault Master 15-seat bus reaches 2,300,000 KRW.

For the electric vehicle Renault Zoe, customers purchasing via installment receive a prepaid charging card worth 500,000 KRW, which allows one year of free driving up to 20,000 km (based on slow charging). Additionally, low-interest installment plans of up to 60 months at 3.5% and a new 72-month plan at 3.9% (with a down payment of 30% or more) are offered, enabling purchase of the Zoe with monthly installments in the 290,000 KRW range.
