Gimcheon Sangmu Professional Football Club Holds First Regular General Meeting Since Inception... "We Will Elevate Gimcheon City's Status"

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Dong-wook] At the end of last year, the Gimcheon Sangmu Professional Football Club, which moved its home ground from Sangju City to Gimcheon City, held its first regular general meeting of 2021 on the afternoon of the 29th at the Small Theater of the Gimcheon Culture and Arts Center to discuss measures to enhance the sports-specialized city.

About 30 people attended the meeting, including the club owner and Gimcheon Mayor Kim Chung-seop, CEO Bae Nak-ho, Chairman of the Supporters Association Choi Han-dong, and delegates.

Club owner and Gimcheon Mayor Kim Chung-seop said, "Despite the difficulties caused by COVID-19, we were able to launch the Gimcheon Sangmu Professional Football Club by working together. I hope that through Gimcheon Sangmu, Gimcheon sports, and furthermore the Gimcheon community, will develop."

CEO Bae Nak-ho pledged, "I will do my best to ensure that Gimcheon Sangmu greatly contributes to raising the status of our Gimcheon. In particular, I will join forces with Director Lee Heung-sil, a former national team football player and professional coach, to create the best Gimcheon Sangmu."
