About 30 people attended the meeting, including the club owner and Gimcheon Mayor Kim Chung-seop, CEO Bae Nak-ho, Chairman of the Supporters Association Choi Han-dong, and delegates.
Club owner and Gimcheon Mayor Kim Chung-seop said, "Despite the difficulties caused by COVID-19, we were able to launch the Gimcheon Sangmu Professional Football Club by working together. I hope that through Gimcheon Sangmu, Gimcheon sports, and furthermore the Gimcheon community, will develop."
CEO Bae Nak-ho pledged, "I will do my best to ensure that Gimcheon Sangmu greatly contributes to raising the status of our Gimcheon. In particular, I will join forces with Director Lee Heung-sil, a former national team football player and professional coach, to create the best Gimcheon Sangmu."
