Temporary Closure of Cheonbulsa Bonandang During Lunar New Year Holiday

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Sang-hyun] Yangsan City, Gyeongnam announced on the 28th that it will temporarily close the Cheonbulsa Columbarium and Memorial Tower during the Lunar New Year holiday to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).

The city decided to temporarily close the facilities as the safety and health of visitors paying respects are the top priority amid the resurgence of COVID-19.

A city official stated, "Considering the serious situation, visits to the columbarium facilities will be suspended during the Lunar New Year holiday," and added, "If visiting the facilities is unavoidable, it should be done with the minimum number of people, avoiding the holiday period, while wearing masks and complying with quarantine rules such as filling out visitor logs. However, we ask that people refrain from paying respects as much as possible."
