Smilegate Entertainment Collaborates with Intel on Technology and eSports Marketing

[Asia Economy Reporter Kang Nahum] Smilegate Entertainment announced on the 28th that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Intel to promote technical cooperation and joint eSports marketing.

Smilegate will collaborate on technology to enhance the performance of Crossfire HD, an upgraded version of its game "Crossfire" with revolutionary graphics improvements. Through this, both companies aim to ensure that Crossfire HD delivers an optimal gaming environment on PCs equipped with Intel's latest central processing units (CPUs) and graphics engines.

Additionally, under this agreement, Intel will participate as a sponsor in the Crossfire eSports business and league. They plan to first cooperate on joint marketing for Crossfire HD.

Meanwhile, the head of Smilegate Entertainment stated, "The partnership with Intel is meaningful as it enhances Smilegate's competitiveness and supports our global expansion efforts," adding, "Both companies will work closely to provide users with new fun and experiences."
