Governor Shin Woo-cheol said, "I hope the good rent movement for self-employed people and small business owners who are going through difficult times due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic will spread," adding, "We will actively discover projects to support small business owners where landlords and tenants can coexist and overcome the COVID-19 crisis together."

Meanwhile, the county invested a budget of 776 million KRW last year to support public utility fees and other expenses for 2,587 businesses struggling due to COVID-19. Following last year, this year, a budget of 506 million KRW will be invested to continue the small business interest subsidy support project.
