Do Not Exchange Gifts with Stakeholders
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Croquis.com (CEO Seo Jeong-hoon), which operates the women's shopping app 'Zigzag,' announced on the 28th that it will conduct a 'Hearts Instead of Gifts' campaign, refraining from exchanging gifts with partner companies and stakeholders ahead of the Lunar New Year holiday.
Zigzag, which connects customers with over 4,000 shopping malls, initiated this campaign with the aim of maintaining transparency, fairness, and trustworthiness as a platform company.
To encourage active participation from its members, Croquis.com is repeatedly communicating the campaign's purpose and guidelines by posting posters throughout the office as well as company-wide announcements. Until the Lunar New Year holiday, campaign banners are automatically attached at the bottom of all email signatures to raise external awareness of the campaign. For gifts that are inevitably received, an internal dedicated team includes the campaign message and proceeds with return procedures.
Croquis.com plans to institutionalize and continue this campaign throughout the year. A Croquis.com representative stated, "All members involved in building Zigzag will continue to focus on providing the best service to customers and partners this year without losing sight of our core mission," adding, "As a leading company in the fashion platform industry, we will take the lead in creating a fair and transparent corporate culture and service through this campaign."
