TCK Investment Appoints Mark Teto and Ang Jeong-kyung as Co-CEOs

[Asia Economy Reporter Minji Lee] TCK Investment announced on the 28th that it has appointed Mark Teto as Executive Director and Yang Jeong-gyeong as Managing Director (COO), both serving as co-CEOs.

New CEO Mark Teto is a financial expert with 15 years of experience, having accumulated extensive expertise in corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), private equity (PE), and venture capital (VC) investment sectors. He joined TCK in 2015, overseeing IR and investment strategy, and was promoted to Executive Director in May 2019 in recognition of his achievements. Prior to joining TCK, he worked in the investment banking divisions of Morgan Stanley’s New York and London offices, handling M&A and corporate finance. He later led corporate acquisitions in Samsung Electronics’ M&A team, contributing to the establishment of the M&A framework within Samsung Electronics.

New CEO Yang Jeong-gyeong is a financial expert with over 30 years of management and investment experience in the global financial market. Yang joined TCK in 2014, where he built and managed the operations and risk systems of the investment advisory firm. He then moved to the National Pension Service Fund Management Headquarters, successfully leading a $1 billion global hedge fund investment, and rejoined TCK in 2019. Previously, he served as head of the Global Asset Division at Dongyang Asset Management, managing global funds exceeding $1.5 billion.
