[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Suwan] Recently, cartoonist Yoon Seoin sparked controversy by making disparaging remarks about independence activists and their descendants. Now, another scandal has erupted as false information about BJ Gamdongran (real name Kim Soeun) has been found to have been spread.

On the 27th, a video titled "Yoon Seoin's Heartless Sexual Assault Suspicion Exposed" was uploaded on the YouTube channel 'Crocodile Men's Training Center.'

In the video, YouTuber Crocodile claimed that BJ Gamdongran had attempted extreme measures twice due to rumors about her, and that the source of these malicious rumors was cartoonist Yoon.

He, who is said to be close to Gamdongran, stated, "There have been many rumors about Gamdongran in this field for a long time. Malicious sexual harassment such as claims that she earns money by frequenting bars, that she is a pathological liar impersonating a doctor, that she pretends to live in Gangnam but actually lives in a villa and is a bar woman, and that she has sponsors and goes on golf trips with them." He added, "Because of this, Gamdongran suffered greatly. She received many malicious comments and even attempted extreme measures twice."

He continued, "Among those who criticized Gamdongran, there is a person who did business with Yoon Seoin in Japan but parted ways after Yoon betrayed him. Let's call him Mr. A." He said, "Mr. A called Gamdongran a 'sponsor woman,' and Gamdongran called Mr. A a 'sex offender.' At that time, Yoon Seoin sent comforting messages to Gamdongran on Facebook and advised her that 'this will all pass.'"

However, it was later revealed that Yoon was the one who spread malicious rumors about Gamdongran. Although Yoon comforted Gamdongran during her difficult times, it turned out that Yoon was the one who spread rumors to Mr. A.

Crocodile said, "Gamdongran was moved by Yoon Seoin, who comforted her. Then Gamdongran and Mr. A reconciled. During this process, Mr. A revealed who started the rumor that Gamdongran was a 'sponsor woman.' It was Yoon Seoin. Yoon spread rumors to people around that Gamdongran was a 'sponsor woman' and would go to bars, but pretended to be a good person to Gamdongran herself," he claimed.

Mr. A also sent screenshots of text messages exchanged with Yoon Seoin in the past. In these messages, Yoon criticized Gamdongran, saying, "Of course, it's a sponsor trip," and "She travels overseas on business, but no matter how you look at it, she's a bar woman."

After these facts became known, Yoon posted on his Facebook that "Looking at the posts, it seems as if I instigated trouble between Gamdongran and Mr. A, who had no issues, but this is not true," and added, "Mr. A was the one who first criticized Gamdongran."

He explained, "At that time, he and I were important business partners, and a significant part of the business decisions were made by him. I agreed with his angry words and disparaged Gamdongran, telling him, who is rich and successful, to endure it."

He continued, "I sincerely apologize. I have sent an apology letter and expressed my apologies through other channels, but it is surprising that this is all being ignored and the issue from four years ago is being publicized."

Meanwhile, Yoon had previously sparked controversy with his offensive remarks that "pro-Japanese collaborators worked hard, while independence activists lived carelessly."

On the 12th, Yoon posted on his Facebook a photo comparing the houses of descendants of pro-Japanese collaborators and independence activists, saying, "While the descendants of pro-Japanese collaborators worked so hard, what exactly did the descendants of independence activists do?"

He further questioned, "If you look closely, weren't the so-called pro-Japanese collaborators people who worked hard even 100 years ago, and the independence activists people who lived carelessly?"

Following this, Yoon's remarks spread across online communities and social networking services (SNS), drawing public outrage.
