Active Discussions on Three Items Including the 2020 Revenue and Expenditure Budget Settlement (Draft) on the 27th

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] The 44th board meeting of the Hamyang-gun Scholarship Foundation (hereinafter referred to as the Scholarship Foundation), a cradle for educational revitalization and future talent development in Hamyang-gun, Gyeongnam, was held in the large conference room of the county office, the foundation announced on the 27th.
At the meeting, including Chairman Seo Chun-soo of the Scholarship Foundation, directors, and auditors, active discussions were held on three agenda items: election of executives (proposal), 2020 income and expenditure settlement (proposal), and partial amendment of the articles of association (proposal).
Before the main meeting, Chairman Seo said, "It is necessary to strengthen the foundation of the county scholarship foundation and enhance transparent operation so that students can receive practical educational benefits," and added, "Please continue to devote much affection so that we can instill dreams and hopes in local students."
The attendees also exchanged candid opinions on the county's current projects, engaging in heated discussions to promote county administration, and exchanged various ideas for educational development through public-private cooperation.
The Hamyang-gun Scholarship Foundation was established in 2002 to contribute to national and local community development and to nurture talents who will elevate Hamyang's status. It aims to raise 20 billion KRW, with annual donations continuing from residents and those originally from the area.
