[Asia Economy Reporter Jo Gang-wook] Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH) announced on the 27th that it will supply 9 support facility sites in Okjeong New Town, Yangju, through a lottery system.
The sites being supplied this time cover an area of 75,499㎡, with a total price reaching 101 billion KRW. The area of each site ranges from 5,849㎡ to 12,903㎡, and the supply price ranges from 7.8 billion to 16.6 billion KRW, which is approximately 4.26 million to 4.59 million KRW per 3.3㎡.
Building restrictions include a building coverage ratio of 70% and a floor area ratio of 300%. Educational research facilities, office facilities, cultural and assembly facilities can be constructed.
Okjeong New Town in Yangju (7.06 million㎡) is a representative hub in northern Gyeonggi Province with a planned population of 100,000. The extension construction of Subway Line 7 within the district began in 2019, and the GTX-C line is scheduled to open in the future, significantly improving transportation conditions.
Additionally, using the already opened road networks such as the Guri-Pocheon Expressway, National Road No. 3 Bypass, and the Second Metropolitan Outer Ring Road, it is possible to reach Jamsil within 40 minutes and Gangnam within an hour. In particular, the support facility sites being supplied this time are about 2 km away from Yangju IC, making vehicle access convenient.
Moreover, with the apartment occupancy rate in the district exceeding 50% and the apartment site sales rate approaching 90%, there is abundant demand in the surrounding area. The supply of these support facility sites is expected to strengthen the self-sufficiency functions.
Applications for the sites can be made individually through the LH Subscription Center, with reservation deposits ranging from 300 million to 800 million KRW per site. Payment can be made in installments with interest over 3 years.
The supply schedule is as follows: applications on February 15, lottery on the 16th, and contract signing from the 22nd to the 26th. For more details, refer to the announcement posted on the LH Subscription Center or contact the LH Yangju Project Headquarters Compensation Land Sales Department.
