Gunwi-gun, Horticulture Education for Children and Parents at Youth Counseling Welfare Center

Gunwi-gun, Horticulture Education for Children and Parents at Youth Counseling Welfare Center 'Gardening Art with Mom, Sharing Hearts' Group Counseling Session.

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Jae-ho] Gunwi-gun, Gyeongbuk announced on the 27th that the Youth Counseling Welfare Center (Director Choi Ik-chan) conducted group counseling on the 26th under the theme "Horticulture Art with Mom, Sharing Hearts" for elementary and middle school students and their parents in the district.

This program was conducted using the remote video conferencing app "Zoom" due to COVID-19, providing a time for parents and children to naturally express their thoughts while handling horticultural materials.

Gunwi-gun explained that during the winter vacation, as outdoor activities decreased and negative emotions such as depression increased, this program offered an opportunity to fully feel the forgotten love within the family and gain a sense of stability during a potentially difficult time between parents and children.

Choi Ik-chan, Director of the Gunwi-gun Youth Counseling Welfare Center, said, "During this exhausting and difficult time due to COVID-19, we will continue to provide high-quality education at the center for the emotional stability and growth of local youth."
