[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] Boribori, a children's specialty mall under LF affiliate Tricycle, is holding a children's hanbok special exhibition for preparing Seolbim for the Year of the Black Tiger until the 14th of next month, ahead of the Lunar New Year holiday.
This event features 8 children's hanbok specialty brands along with popular shoe brands, offering a total of about 150 products at discounts of up to 50%.
In particular, Boribori's private brand (PB) 'Bitgyeoldameun' and 'The Yehanbok,' boasting 20 years of expertise, have prepared exclusive special-priced products for Boribori. They present girls' jeogori and skirt sets and boys' jeogori, pants, and vest sets priced between 20,000 and 30,000 KRW.
Additionally, 'Yegahanbok' offers general hanbok and dangui at a 15% discount, selling them at reasonable prices ranging from 30,000 to 40,000 KRW, while 38 types of hanbok from 'Geumdongi Hanbok' are available in the 20,000 to 30,000 KRW range.
Various accessories for completing high-quality hanbok coordination are also prepared. Six brands including ‘Hanye-bim,’ ‘Harang Hanbok,’ and ‘Hansel’ offer various point items such as mantles, headbands, norigae, and doryeongmo starting from 8,900 KRW.
Furthermore, shoes that match hanbok are sold together. Traditional girls' flower shoes and boys' gat shoes from Hansel, as well as trendy flats and dress shoes from shoe brands like Shoes Farm, Oz Kids Shoes, Napul, and Banana Palms, are prepared from the 10,000 KRW range up to the 30,000 KRW range. The materials also vary from fur shoes to suede, broadening consumer choices to prepare for the transitional season temperatures.
Lee Hwajeong, Executive Director of Boribori Business Division, said, “This Lunar New Year will have a different holiday atmosphere due to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), but we planned this event so families can fully create the Seol atmosphere with their children at home,” adding, “We hope everyone feels the value of hanbok through this special exhibition and has a happy Lunar New Year holiday.”
