Special Parking and Traffic Measures Prepared for Garak Market During Lunar New Year

Operation of Dedicated Waiting Area for Lunar New Year Product Delivery Vehicles to Support Smooth Traffic Flow...Improving Customer Convenience with Exclusive Temporary Parking Lots and Free Parking During Lunar New Year Holidays

[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Seoul Agro-Fisheries & Food Corporation (President Kim Kyung-ho) has prepared and implemented the '2021 Lunar New Year Peak Season Parking and Traffic Special Measures' to accommodate the convenience of customers using Garak Market during the Lunar New Year holiday.

The special measures period will be from January 28 to February 11, lasting a total of 14 days. During this period, to prevent temporary congestion of shipment vehicles and to resolve other parking and traffic congestion, a temporary waiting area for shipment vehicles will be operated on the site of Vegetable Building 2 (near the North Gate, within the former fruit and vegetable direct sales site, approximately 8,300㎡) inside the market.

Additionally, the corporation and distribution organizations will jointly conduct special traffic duty, deploying up to about 181 personnel per day.

Furthermore, the corporation will operate a parking lot exclusively for purchasing customers during the peak period from February 3 to February 11, when general consumers visit the most. During the market closure period from 6:30 AM on February 11 to 8:30 AM on February 14, the parking lot will be operated free of charge 24 hours a day.

With the implementation of these special parking and traffic measures, it is expected that customers visiting Garak Market ahead of the Lunar New Year holiday will be provided with a more comfortable and pleasant environment.
