[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Sang-hyun] The Gyeongnam Miryang City Comprehensive Social Welfare Center has installed the Maeulsuda (秀) Cafe Studio on the 3rd floor of the welfare center to operate non-face-to-face online business services in line with the WITH Corona era.
The Maeulsuda Cafe is equipped with broadcasting cameras, microphones, video mixers, and sound equipment, installed with a self-funded budget of 20 million KRW to carry out village media projects.
Additionally, using the Zoom video conferencing system, professional educational services are provided to local residents together with village activists and youth reporters.
An official from the city stated, “By utilizing online media, we can provide services without the constraints of space and time,” and added, “We will support this so that it can play an important role in the future regional service network as a change in the welfare service delivery system.”
