Small and Medium Business Export Association Signs Online Trade Support Agreement with Chinese Companies

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Young-eun] The International Small and Medium Enterprises Export Association signed an agreement on the 19th to support domestic SMEs in pioneering online commerce sales channels in the Chinese market. The signing ceremony, held at the association's office in Michuhol-gu, Incheon, was attended by Kim Yeon-guk, chairman of the association, Andrew An Jang-yong, CEO of Andrew (Sichuan) Kwajing Electronics Trading Co., Ltd., and Oh Jung-seok, CEO of JamPick.

According to this agreement, the association will discover excellent products from domestic SMEs and support their export operations, while Andrew (Sichuan) Kwajing Electronics Trading Co., Ltd., headquartered in Sichuan, China, will handle Kwajing trade licensing and product sales agency services to enable the export of outstanding domestic products.

In particular, JamPick will support product promotion for domestic SMEs wishing to engage in Kwajing trade (official cross-border e-commerce recognized by the Chinese government) through its self-developed video sharing platform 'Chainflix,' which provides product explanation videos.

Kang Seung-won, vice chairman of the association, stated, "Through the International Small and Medium Enterprises Export Association, we have attempted to discover domestic SMEs and enter the Chinese market in various ways every year, but due to various circumstances, we have not achieved significant results. Through this business agreement, we hope to support many domestic SMEs to pioneer sales channels in the Chinese market more quickly and economically in the non-face-to-face export environment caused by the COVID-19 pandemic."

Additionally, Andrew An Jang-yong, CEO of Andrew (Sichuan) Kwajing Electronics Trading Co., Ltd., emphasized, "Many companies seek opportunities to target the Chinese market, but without properly understanding the Chinese situation, they can never succeed. In the future, there is no answer other than Kwajing trade in China."
