[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Park Dong-wook] Daegu Metropolitan Office of Education announced on the 25th that it will operate the 'Family Counseling Program with Personality Type Test (MBTI)' at the Parent Capacity Development Center until the 30th to overcome COVID-19 depression.
This event is a follow-up program inspired by the great response to the 'Small but Certain Happiness Family Counseling' conducted by volunteer counselors last December, focusing on family relationships. Counseling will be provided not only on family relationships but also on overall school life.
This counseling program is conducted for one family at a time for two hours per session. MBTI test codes are emailed to all participating families, and families take the personality type test online after receiving approval from the testing institution in advance.
On the day of counseling, families review the personality type test results with a professional counseling teacher, understand the relationship patterns of family personality types, and spend time discovering ways to manage parent-child conflicts on their own.
This program, operated through online applications, has received great interest and response, with all 24 sessions fully booked within 10 minutes of the application opening, according to the Office of Education.
Superintendent Kang Eun-hee stated, "To enable individualized learning anytime and anywhere, we believe that the home is another school. We will actively work together with parents to help children blossom their potential."
