[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heung-soon] Volvo Group Korea, a company specializing in excavators, announced on the 25th that Volvo Construction Equipment Domestic Sales Service received the Grand Prize in the manufacturing category at the '2021 Customer Satisfaction Management Awards' ceremony.


The Customer Satisfaction Management Awards are hosted by the Korea Sustainable Management Institute and sponsored by the Korea Journalists Association. The award was established to encourage companies and organizations that successfully practice customer satisfaction management, pursue the enhancement of consumer rights and quality of life, and lead an advanced economic society.


Volvo Construction Equipment Domestic Sales Service was recognized for its achievements in prioritizing customer success and continuous growth and development with customers across all business activities including production, sales, marketing, and research and development, and received the grand prize at the ceremony held on the 22nd.


Since launching the EW140, a medium-sized wheel excavator equipped with Volvo Intelligent Work Systems, in the Korean market in 2018, Volvo Construction Equipment Domestic Sales Service has provided various smart solutions integrating digital innovation technologies to domestic customers, such as 'Dig Assist,' a solution that provides real-time work information to operators without the help of surveyors; 'Volvo Active Control,' an advanced machine guidance system; and 'Volvo CareTrack,' a telematics system with equipment remote monitoring functions.


Additionally, recognized for its advanced technology in eco-friendly smart construction fields such as automation technology, electric-powered equipment, and digital connectivity, it also participated as a partner in the construction automation sector of the Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH)'s Sejong Smart City development project.
