Minister Jeon said, "We will mobilize all administrative forces including the Coast Guard, Navy, Busan City, Yeongdo-gu, Gyeongsangnam-do, and Geoje City to fully focus on searching and rescuing lives," and added, "Please make every effort to ensure the safety of rescue team members, quickly identify the crew list, inform their families, and do your best to support such as site visits."

Minister Jeon received a situation report regarding the sinking accident of the fishing vessel 127 Daeyangho (339t), registered in Yeongdo-gu, Busan, which occurred around 3:57 p.m. that day. Of the 10 people on board in this fishing vessel accident, 7 have been rescued and 3 are still being searched for.
