Kookmin Bank Holds Career Club Performance Presentation as 'Mentor for Youth'

KB Kookmin Bank Supports the Dreams and Hopes of Youth!

[Asia Economy Reporter Park Sunmi] KB Kookmin Bank announced on the 23rd that it held the 3rd Career Club Performance Presentation for 'Mentor KB for Youth!'

The 'Mentor KB for Youth!' Career Club is a department experience-type career mentoring project that provides information and practical opportunities in career and job fields that are difficult to encounter at school. At the Career Club presentation, about 230 members from 49 autonomous clubs who completed the program participated online to share the results of last year's activities, and scholarships were awarded to outstanding teams.

Lee Junwoo, a student from the 4th Industrial Revolution Club, said, “I was able to make what I learned in class my own through the Career Club activities,” and added, “I gained confidence that I can lead and drive the 4th Industrial Revolution era.”

A KB Kookmin Bank official said, “We hope that the Career Club activities will be an opportunity for youth to get one step closer to their dreams,” and added, “Mentor KB for Youth! will be a reliable partner for young people who have difficulties exploring their careers in a rapidly changing environment.”

Meanwhile, KB Kookmin Bank stated that it signed a business agreement with the Ministry of Education in 2015 to activate the middle school free semester system and support youth career education, and continues to support various youth mentoring projects.
