[Sejong=Asia Economy Reporter Kim Hyunjung] Next week, 60 tons of imported fresh eggs from the United States will be distributed domestically through a public auction bidding.
On the 23rd, the Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation (aT) announced that it plans to sell 60 tons of imported fresh eggs from the United States through a public auction bidding via the electronic bidding system (atbid) from 3 PM to 5 PM on the 26th, targeting actual demand companies such as edible egg collection and sales businesses, confectionery and bakery industries, and those who directly sell eggs to final consumers at business sites.
Those wishing to participate in the public auction bidding must submit a bidder qualification registration application and a bidding pledge form to the aT regional headquarters by 12 PM on the same day. Detailed information related to the sale can be found on the corporation's website under notices, and inquiries can be made to the Supply Management Division, Supply Planning Department.
Furthermore, additional quantities to be introduced in the future will be flexibly managed by considering price conditions, combining open competitive bidding and direct supply (direct delivery) to actual demand companies.
