[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] On the 22nd, Hamyang-gun, Gyeongnam Province, held a 2022 national and provincial funding project discovery report meeting at the county office's large conference room, presided over by County Governor Seo Chun-soo, with about 50 attendees including the deputy governor, department heads, division chiefs, and responsible officers.

Hamyang-gun's 2022 national and provincial funding projects amount to 190 billion KRW across 112 projects, including 43 new projects.

Major projects include ▲ Seonbi Culture Heritage Pungnyu Tourism District Development Project (18 billion KRW) ▲ Baekyeon Recreation Area Development Project (18.3 billion KRW) ▲ Hamyang Sports Complex Development Project (Phase 2) (18.8 billion KRW) ▲ Hannam Natural Disaster Risk Zone Maintenance Project (33.8 billion KRW) ▲ Jirisan Road Maintenance Project (35.2 billion KRW), among others.

Hamyang-gun plans to intensively visit relevant Gyeongnam Province offices and central government departments by project to explain the necessity of the projects and make every effort to ensure that the county's major projects are reflected as much as possible in the government budget.

Governor Seo Chun-soo emphasized, "Now is the time to prepare for a new leap forward for Hamyang following the 2021 Sansam Anti-aging Expo, while simultaneously preventing infectious diseases and revitalizing the stagnant local economy," adding, "We must focus administrative power on securing national and provincial funding for newly discovered projects and public contest projects and respond proactively."
