The 7th class of new firefighters enrolled at Jeonnam Fire School last November. Despite the challenging conditions due to COVID-19, they have been strictly following quarantine rules and refraining from outings and overnight stays while undergoing a 12-week specialized training course and basic education on integrity and other essential qualities required of public officials.
At this event, Head Ma emphasized the pride of firefighters, the proper attitude of public officials, and the dignity that firefighters must uphold.
In particular, he urged them to take pride in being firefighters, ranked as the most trusted profession by the public, and to always be faithful to the basics as disaster response experts responsible for public safety.
Meanwhile, the special lecture was conducted in a communicative style, listening and talking together with the trainees, which received great positive feedback.
