[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Oh Hwan-joo] Muan-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Kim San) announced on the 22nd that the Mobile Petition Office event, scheduled for the 27th and hosted by the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission, has been canceled.

The Mobile Petition Office is an on-site civil complaint consultation system composed of a counseling team including investigators from the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission and experts from related organizations such as the Korea National Council on Social Welfare, the Korea Legal Aid Corporation, and the Korea Consumer Agency. It provides consultation and resolution guidance for complaints in all areas of daily life, including administration, culture, education, daily life laws, employment and labor, and consumer damage.

The Mobile Petition Office, which was scheduled to be held at the Seungdal Culture and Arts Center Small Auditorium, has been canceled due to recent COVID-19 social distancing measures and government guidelines. The decision to hold the event will be made later depending on changes in the situation.

A county official said, “We hope the Mobile Petition Office will be held as soon as possible to resolve the inconveniences of the residents.”
