[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Hye-min] GS Construction opened the model house for 'Gapyeong Xi,' a residential complex located in Daegok 2 District, Gapyeong, Gyeonggi Province, on the 22nd, officially starting the sales schedule.


Gapyeong Xi consists of 6 buildings with 505 units (exclusive area 59~199㎡), ranging from 3 basement floors to a maximum of 29 floors above ground.


Gapyeong is a non-regulated area excluded from real estate regulations. Residents of Gapyeong aged 19 or older, as well as residents of Gyeonggi Province, Seoul, and Incheon, are eligible to apply. After being subscribed to a subscription savings account for more than 12 months and meeting the deposit requirements for each housing type, both household heads and household members can apply as first priority. Multi-homeowners can also apply as first priority.


Multi-homeowners can apply as first priority, and there is no restriction on re-winning. It is possible to resell the pre-sale rights six months after the announcement of the winners.


The complex is within walking distance to Gapyeong Station, and it takes about 40 minutes to Cheongnyangni Station. GS Construction explained that there is Gapyeong Terminal nearby, and through Gapyeong Bridge and others, residents can quickly move to Seoul and the metropolitan area. Parking spaces are arranged 100% underground. Since there are more than 500 households, a national/public daycare center is also planned within the complex.


The model house is located in 394-1 Daegok-ri, Gapyeong-eup, Gapyeong-gun, and both advance reservation and a cyber model house will be operated simultaneously.


Gapyeong Xi will start accepting subscription applications beginning with special supply on the 1st of next month. Move-in is scheduled for August 2023.


A GS Construction sales official said, "Gapyeong is one of the few non-regulated areas in the metropolitan area, so subscription and loan conditions are not strict," adding, "Gapyeong Xi is the first apartment GS Construction is introducing in Gapyeong, and we will do our best to make it a representative apartment of Gapyeong in the future."
