Kim Dong-hyun Appointed as the First Director of the Invitation Center, Netmarble AI Center Head
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Coway (CEO Lee Hae-sun) announced on the 22nd that it will actively pursue digital innovation by establishing an integrated IT dedicated organization called the 'DX (Digital Transformation) Center.'
Coway has expanded and reorganized its existing IT department into the DX Center to focus on comprehensive IT service innovation. This is to pursue digital transformation across the entire business based on big data and artificial intelligence (AI) and to maximize customer value. The DX Center is responsible for building product and service platforms that incorporate advanced technologies such as the Internet of Things (IoT) and AI.
This year, Coway plans to achieve a full-scale digital transformation of its business structure centered on the DX Center and accelerate the leap to the 'New Coway' through three major innovations in products, services, and organizational culture, thereby strengthening future competitiveness. To this end, it plans to actively recruit technical personnel across all IT fields, including AI, IoT, big data, machine learning, and cloud.
Kim Dong-hyun, Executive Director and head of Netmarble's AI Center, has been appointed as the inaugural head of Coway's DX Center. He is expected to closely integrate Netmarble's innovation DNA and IT capabilities to create substantial synergy between the two companies.
