CJ O Shopping Health Food PB 'Doctor One' Collaborates with 'Apple Tree Kim Yaksa-ne' for Joint Development
[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Kim] CJ O Shopping's health food private brand 'Doctor One' is launching 'Doctor One Elastin Collagen,' which allows simultaneous intake of collagen and elastin, on the 24th.
Doctor One announced on the 22nd that it jointly developed 'Doctor One Elastin Collagen' with the bio healthcare company Pharmsville's own brand 'Appletree Kim Yaksa-ne.'
Elastin is a component directly involved in skin elasticity and is called an 'elastic protein.' If collagen is the framework inside the skin, elastin acts as a support that elastically binds collagen to prevent it from escaping.
The company explained that this product is manufactured by combining hydrolyzed elastin from France and fish collagen from Aichart, a French company with 180 years of history. A company representative said, "To increase absorption and utilization rates in the body, an enzyme-treated hydrolysis method was applied," adding, "It contains 100% Spanish grapefruit concentrate, providing a fresh and sweet taste, and is packaged in individual stick-type jelly for convenient consumption." It is recommended to take one stick once a day.
Doctor One Elastin Collagen will be launched through CJ O Shopping at 1 a.m. on the 24th. The product is available in an 8-box set (total 112 sticks) for 178,000 KRW for a 16-week supply, and a 4-box set (total 56 sticks) for 99,000 KRW for an 8-week supply. During the live broadcast, a 10,000 KRW discount via ARS and a 12-month interest-free installment plan will also be offered.
Jiyoung Lim, product planner (MD) of CJ O Shopping's Health Food Business Team, said, "Many people are complaining of dry skin due to cold winter weather and prolonged exposure to indoor heating," adding, "As this product was planned to address customers' concerns about skin elasticity, we hope it helps with skin care through simple intake."
Meanwhile, Doctor One is a health food private brand launched by CJ O Shopping in the second half of 2019, with representative products including 'Doctor One Mango Diet,' 'Doctor One Tangletangle Collagen,' and 'Doctor One Protein Silk Peptide.'
