[Asia Economy Reporter Ryu Jeong-min] Kang Min-seok, spokesperson for the Blue House, announced on the 21st, "President Moon Jae-in approved the appointment of Han Jeong-ae as Minister of Environment around 6 PM today. The term will begin on the 22nd."

Minister Han Jeong-ae is a former member of the National Assembly from the Democratic Party of Korea. She underwent the parliamentary confirmation hearing and is scheduled to officially start her term on the 22nd.
