As of 2:04 PM on the 21st, LG Electronics is trading at 181,500 KRW. This is the highest price since LG Electronics was listed. It is an increase of 14,500 KRW (8.68%) compared to the previous day's closing price.

On the previous day, Kwon Bong-seok, President of LG Electronics, sent an email to members of the Mobile Communications (MC) Business Division regarding the operation of the division's business, stating, "Regardless of how the operation direction of the MC Business Division is decided, the employment of members will be maintained in principle, so there is no need to worry," while leaving all possibilities, including the withdrawal from the smartphone business, open for review.
