As of 11 a.m. that day, no additional confirmed cases were identified.
All 5 confirmed cases were found to have had contact with Jeju case 505. Among them, 3 cases (Jeju 507, 509, and 511) are related to Chamsol Restaurant located in Yusuam-ri, Aewol-eup, Jeju City, and 2 cases were customers of the restaurant.
In particular, the 3 Chamsol Restaurant-related cases reportedly dined and worked together with Jeju case 505.
Jeju cases 508 and 510 are family members. Their movement paths overlapped with Jeju case 505 the day before case 505 was confirmed.
Among these confirmed cases, only Jeju case 507 showed symptoms such as coughing, while the other 4 are presumed to be asymptomatic infections.
The quarantine authorities have completed disinfection measures at Chamsol Restaurant and ordered a suspension of business operations.
Additionally, contact information for 338 visitors to Chamsol Restaurant was obtained and they were notified to undergo testing.
