[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Hyewon] Doosan Infracore announced on the 20th that it has received an order for 221 excavators from Bolroc, a major construction equipment rental company in France.
The excavators Doosan Infracore will supply to Bolroc include a total of 12 models, such as 22-ton, 16-ton, and 8-ton classes. They are expected to be used at various construction sites across France, including building and road construction projects.
Bolroc operates more than 350 construction machines and previously purchased about 250 Doosan Infracore excavators in 2016, 2017, and 2019. Doosan Infracore secured this deal by being recognized for its competitiveness in equipment performance, maintenance, and residual value by Bolroc.
A representative of Doosan Infracore Europe (DIEU) said, "We secured the largest volume by outperforming global competitors in a bid for a total of 300 units. This has become an opportunity to further strengthen our position not only in France, the third-largest market in Europe, but also in the European market."
Doosan Infracore is strengthening its sales capabilities by launching the new DL-7 series wheel loader, which meets the latest European emission regulations (Stage-V), in the European market at the end of last year.
