[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jun-yi] Kim Jin-ae, a member of the Open Democratic Party who declared her candidacy for the Seoul mayoral by-election, criticized Ahn Cheol-soo, leader of the People’s Party, saying he is "not an inch away from the 'Andong Theory (the world revolves around Ahn Cheol-soo).'"
On the morning of the 20th, Kim said on her Facebook, "Ahn Cheol-soo, who tries to swallow the conservative opposition forces day by day with his meager recognition and approval ratings." Kim had previously said in an interview with Asia Economy on the 6th, "Once there is a debate, the Ahn Cheol-soo mirage will disappear."
Kim pointed out, "When Ahn said he would enter the People Power Party’s Seoul mayoral primary alone, Kim Jong-in, the emergency committee chairman, cut it off immediately," adding, "He neither properly looks into the party’s constitution nor examines the Public Official Election Act."
She added, "Kim Jin-ae strives to build trust sincerely from the heart," and said, "She is approaching the Open Democratic Party primary and the subsequent unification and general election preparations fairly and earnestly, considering the positions of each party."
