[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Sang-hyun] Moon Shin-woo, a city council member of Yangsan-si, Gyeongnam, received the 'Local Legislative Service Award' organized by the National Association of Chairpersons of City, County, and District Councils.

The Local Legislative Service Award is given to local council members who have dedicated themselves to the development of local legislation and community advancement with a strong sense of duty and a spirit of service.

Councilor Moon was recognized for his devoted efforts in citizen-centered legislative activities through communication on the ground, COVID-19 quarantine activities, and recovery efforts from heavy rain and typhoon damages.

In particular, he assisted in preventive activities by visiting areas at risk of damage due to the landfall of Typhoon 'Haishen,' comforted affected citizens by visiting recovery sites, and worked hard on restoration efforts.
