Recruiting 'Eunpyeong Reporters' and 'Village Radio Resident DJs'

Realizing 'Resident-Led District Promotion' Through Discovering Resident Participation Content

[Asia Economy Reporter Jong-il Park] Eunpyeong-gu (Mayor Kim Mi-kyung) is recruiting 'Eunpyeongin Reporters' and 'Village Radio Resident DJs' from the 18th to the 29th for residents who are interested in media and full of talent and skills.

Residents who have participated in broadcasting and video production, those who dream of becoming broadcasters, and those with talent and skills can apply regardless of age or gender. Those selected through the recruitment will start full-scale activities in March and lead promotional activities connecting Eunpyeong-gu and its residents during their 10-month term.

This year, Eunpyeong-gu plans to discover content reflecting the 'residents' perspective,' including 'Eunpyeongin Reporters' who will deliver vivid news from major local sites, and 'Village Radio Resident DJs' who will produce resident-led radio content from planning to composition and hosting, to communicate and empathize more deeply with residents.

The application deadline is until 6 p.m. on the 29th. To apply, download the required form from the Eunpyeong-gu Office website under the district news and public notice section, fill it out, and submit it via email to the person in charge (cmhv6@ep.go.kr).

An official from the district stated, “We will actively support residents to engage professionally in district promotion activities, and not only deliver vivid local news to residents but also expand resident participation content where residents can share and communicate stories about living in the village with their neighbors.”

Meanwhile, all media content produced in Eunpyeong, including 'Eunpyeongin Reporters' and 'Village Radio,' can be easily and conveniently accessed without complicated registration procedures on the media portal site ‘Eunpyeongin(in) Media.’
