Jeong In-gyun, Chairman of the Gokseong County Council, Joins the 'Expecting Local Autonomy' Challenge

[Gokseong=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Chunsu] Jeong In-gyun, chairman of the Gokseong County Council, announced on the 18th that he participated in the ‘Expecting Local Autonomy’ challenge after being nominated by the chairman of the Gwangyang City Council.

The ‘Expecting Local Autonomy’ challenge began after the full revision of the Local Autonomy Act passed the National Assembly on December 9, 2020. Participants take photos containing key messages such as their determination and plans to prepare for the era of local autonomy, post them on SNS, and then nominate the next participants.

Chairman Jeong In-gyun expressed his determination to open the era of local autonomy together with the residents with the message, “We will create the Local Autonomy 2.0 era together with the residents.” He nominated the chairmen of the Hwasun County Council, Haenam County Council, and Jindo County Council as the next participants in the challenge.
