Assault for Blocking Apartment Entrance with an Unregistered Acquaintance's Vehicle

[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Juhyung] A man in his 30s, who assaulted two security guards for blocking an unregistered acquaintance's vehicle at an apartment entrance, appeared at the police station.
The Gimpo Police Station in Gyeonggi announced on the 18th that they have booked A (35), a resident of an apartment in Gimpo, on charges including assault.
Originally, A was scheduled to appear on the 15th, but postponed the appointment by three days citing his lawyer's withdrawal. He appeared at the police station at 1:28 PM on the day.
A is accused of assaulting two security guards, B and C, both in their 50s, at the residents-only entrance of the apartment where he lives at around 11:40 PM on the 11th.
According to the police investigation, A, who was intoxicated at the time, was riding in the front passenger seat of an acquaintance's vehicle and was trying to enter the apartment through the residents-only entrance. When B and C prevented the vehicle from entering because it was unregistered, A committed the assault.
A repeatedly punched B in the abdomen and other body parts, and also struck C in the face when C tried to stop him. Additionally, he verbally abused and spat at the security guards, and caused a disturbance by hitting the security office window with a chair.
As a result of A's assault, B sustained rib injuries, and C suffered a broken nose, both seriously injured. They are currently receiving treatment.
B told the police, "I asked him to use the visitor entrance at the time, but A caused a disturbance and assaulted me." C gave a similar statement.
