84.3% of Buyers Choose 'Product Performance' as the Reason for Purchasing Hyutech Massage Chairs


[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] 84.3% of Hutech massage chair customers answered that the reason for deciding to purchase was due to the product performance. On the 18th, Hutech Industry revealed this by disclosing customer survey data conducted over 22 months from March 2019 at their directly managed stores.


This survey was conducted on customers who purchased or rented massage chairs at Hutech's nationwide directly managed stores, with the main customers being in their 30s and 40s, accounting for 67%. According to the survey results, demand for 'personal use' and 'gifts for family and acquaintances' were 66% and 32%, respectively.


Regarding the reason for favoring the Hutech brand, 74.5% of respondents cited 'direct usage experience,' followed by 'introduction and recommendation by acquaintances' at 24.6%. Additionally, when asked about the decisive factor for purchasing a Hutech massage chair, 84.3% of customers answered 'product performance,' whereas those who chose 'product price' or 'purchase benefits' accounted for only 6.9% and 1.4%, respectively.


51.2% of customers at Hutech's directly managed stores purchased the 'Kai SLS9 White Pearl Edition' and 'Imperial Blue,' 'Kai SLS7,' and the recently released 'Kai GTS7 Artmotion,' all equipped with sonic vibration massage technology. In this regard, 43.2% of customers cited 'sonic vibration massage' as the most satisfying feature of Hutech massage chairs.
