SSG.com Holds Lunar New Year Gift Set Promotion in Collaboration with Small Business Owners

SSG.com, in collaboration with the Small and Medium Business Distribution Center, is hosting the ‘Small Business Owners X SSG Gift Set’ exhibition until the 31st, offering over 200 gift sets from excellent small business brands such as ‘Andong Chosim Hanwoo’ and ‘Woori Nongsan’ at discounts of up to 30%. Additional holiday discount promotions will also be applied.

SSG.com planned this event with the intention of providing stable sales channels to small and medium partner companies preparing for their second ‘contactless holiday’ following last Chuseok.

In fact, the approximately 40 small business vendors participating in this event have seen sales increase by 45% from December 24, when pre-holiday sales began, to the 15th of this month compared to the same period last year (2019.12.06 ~ 2020.12.28). In particular, sales of Andong Chosim Hanwoo’s Hanwoo gift sets increased more than sevenfold compared to the same period last year, and Woori Nongsan’s sesame oil and perilla oil gift sets increased more than fourfold during the same period.

Meanwhile, a special exhibition to support fishermen struggling due to the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) will also be held. Until February 7, SSG.com will participate in the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries’ ‘2021 Korea Genuine Seafood Festival.’ This exhibition is a seafood sales promotion event that has been ongoing since August last year, and this year it plans to be held eight more times until November. This time, it is prepared as a ‘Lunar New Year Special Exhibition’ to coincide with the holiday season.

Popular holiday gift items such as dried yellow corvina will be sold at discounts of up to 30%, and fresh fish for jeon preparation and ritual fish will be offered at special prices of up to 35% off. Customers purchasing items designated by the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries during the event period can apply a 20% discount coupon, allowing for an additional discount of up to 10,000 KRW.
