Earlier, around 1 p.m. on the 16th, a resident discovered the body of the deceased newborn between buildings in a villa complex in Ilsan-seo-gu, Goyang City, and reported it to the authorities.
The police urgently arrested Ms. A, a woman in her 20s residing in the villa complex, on suspicion of infanticide.
It has been determined that Ms. A gave birth to the baby in her home bathroom and then threw the infant out of the window, causing its death. The autopsy of the deceased baby is scheduled for the 18th.
