[Asia Economy Reporter Nah Han-ah] Na Kyung-won, former member of the People Power Party who declared her candidacy for the Seoul mayoral by-election, met with former Dongyang University professor Jin Joong-kwon on the 16th and posted a photo of their meeting on her social media (SNS).

On the same day, Na shared a post by Jin on her Facebook along with a photo of the two together, writing, "It was an enjoyable and meaningful time."

Jin also posted on his Facebook that day, "Na Kyung-won came by near my place and stopped by my house... We had a cup of coffee and talked about the hardships she has endured," adding, "I once defended her when she was being attacked, and she came to thank me for that," along with a photo of them together.

Previously, in October last year, Jin criticized the Democratic Party of Korea, which raised allegations of admission irregularities involving Na's children, calling it "the height of hypocrisy (Naeronambul: 'If I do it, it's romance; if others do it, it's an affair')," and said, "These are things that should be said to Cho Kuk, Choo Mi-ae, and Kim Yong-min..."
