Standard Land Price in Gangbuk-gu Rises 8.84% Compared to Previous Year


[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Gangbuk-gu (District Mayor Park Kyum-soo) held the 1st Real Estate Price Public Announcement Committee meeting in a non-face-to-face video conference format on the 8th to listen to opinions and gather feedback on the appropriateness of the 2021 Standard Land Officially Announced Land Prices.


Fifteen committee members attended the meeting, engaging in in-depth discussions on the standard land official announced land prices as of January 1, 2021, for a total of 1,236 parcels: 592 parcels in Mia-dong, 140 parcels in Beon-dong, 439 parcels in Suyu-dong, and 65 parcels in Ui-dong.


The standard land official announced land price is an important factor that serves as the basis for land appraisal and various administrative purposes such as individual official land prices.


Compared to the previous year, Gangbuk-gu's standard land official announced land price increased by 8.84%.


Nationally, the increase rate was 10.37%, and Seoul City showed an increase rate of 11.41%.


Lee Dong-hyun, an appraiser from Gaon Appraisal Corporation attending as a committee member for the first time, said, "There were concerns about attending the committee in person due to the spread of COVID-19, but I feel relieved that the meeting was held via video conference," and added, "Gangbuk-gu's response to infectious diseases was remarkable."


The results of the opinion gathering on the standard land official announced land prices will be reviewed by the Central Real Estate Price Public Announcement Committee and are scheduled to be decided and announced by the Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport on February 1.
