[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bong-ju] Yoo Jae-suk directly revealed the reason why the reunion of 'Infinite Challenge' is difficult.

On the 14th, Yoo Jae-suk communicated with viewers through a live broadcast of MBC's entertainment program 'How Do You Play?'

The online dinner and fan meeting was arranged by Yoo Jae-suk, who won the 2020 MBC Entertainment Awards with 'How Do You Play?', to repay the love of his fans.

During the conversation with viewers that day, topics such as 'Infinite Challenge era,' 'Infinite Company special,' and 'Yoo Jae-suk's Yoo Bu-jang character' were mentioned, and questions flooded in asking when 'Infinite Challenge Season 2' would come out, expressing a desire to see Infinite Challenge again.

In response, Yoo Jae-suk said, "Last week, (Jo) Byung-gyu also talked about Infinite Challenge Kids, and many people said they enjoyed watching Infinite Challenge."

He continued, "Since it ended in March 2018, it has been three years since Infinite Challenge ended. Many people miss it and want to see it again."

However, Yoo Jae-suk drew a line, saying that 'Infinite Challenge Season 2' or 'reunion' is not an easy matter.

He especially said, "Due to various circumstances, I am doing 'How Do You Play?', but aside from that, gathering the members is not easy," and "There are members who want to do it, but thankfully, there are members who do not want to," drawing attention.

Yoo Jae-suk explained, "To the members who reminisce about the legendary prime time, of course, there are Se-ho, Kwang-hee, and Se-hyung who joined in the later part, but I know many people want the original members who were together during the so-called prime time in the early days. However, gathering the original members is not easy."

Infinite Challenge aired for 13 years, but many consider the period when the original six members Yoo Jae-suk, Jung Hyung-don, Noh Hong-chul, Park Myung-soo, Jung Joon-ha, and Haha were together as the 'prime time.'

At the time of the finale, Infinite Challenge included Yoo Jae-suk, Park Myung-soo, Jung Joon-ha, Haha, Jo Se-ho, and Yang Se-hyung, and Jeon Jin, Gil, and Hwang Kwang-hee also passed through Infinite Challenge.

Since Infinite Challenge ended in 2018, the possibility of Season 2 or member reunion has been mentioned several times. However, with the start of Yoo Jae-suk and PD Kim Tae-ho's 'How Do You Play?' in 2019, the resumption of 'Infinite Challenge' was put to rest for the time being.

Meanwhile, 'Infinite Challenge' is a popular MBC entertainment program that aired from April 2005 to March 2018. Kim Tae-ho PD, who directed Infinite Challenge from 2005, is currently continuing his connection with Yoo Jae-suk on MBC's 'How Do You Play?'.
