[Asia Economy Reporter Kang Juhee] Kim Sang-kyo, known as the whistleblower of the so-called 'Burning Sun scandal,' mentioned Girls' Generation member Hyoyeon, demanding her testimony, and issued a warning to former Big Bang member Seungri.
On the 13th, Kim posted a photo of Hyoyeon DJing at a club on his Instagram, saying, "Girls' Generation Hyoyeon, DJ at the 'JM Solution X Burning Sun Party' on November 24, 2018, let's ask just one thing."
He continued, "Who was the actress drooling from drugs that day, that even two police officers from Yeoksam Police Substation couldn't enter the club?" and asked, "You, the VVIP of that day, must have seen everything, Hyoyeon."
He then said, "You must know if it was Seungri's friend, that drug addict, who assaulted me inside the club while I was intoxicated on drugs," adding, "The time to blow the whistle is running out. Whether dozens of celebrities related to Burning Sun will be revealed someday or whether the truth will be properly exposed is your choice. Even now, they must be hiding somewhere in a house, doing X and X, and filming videos."
Kim also targeted Seungri, saying, "Seungri, son of Gwangju, I am just waiting for the day you are discharged," and mentioned, "I have your entire list in my notebook. From now on, it's your choice whether to confess one by one, apologize, and be forgiven, or to be tormented by me for life."

Kim was a victim of an assault incident that occurred at the Burning Sun club in Gangnam, Seoul, in November 2018, and he was the figure who triggered the Burning Sun scandal.
At the time, Kim was dragged outside the club after a sexual harassment dispute with another guest at Burning Sun. During this process, he was assaulted by club staff, suffering injuries including broken ribs. The scene of Kim being assaulted was captured on the club's external closed-circuit television (CCTV).
Afterward, Kim claimed that the police who arrived instead arrested him, the victim, as the perpetrator and used excessive force, raising suspicions of collusion between the club and the police. Kim's revelations later expanded into the Burning Sun gate involving prostitution mediation, drug distribution, and more.
Meanwhile, Seungri has been undergoing trial at a military court since enlisting in the military in March last year. He faces a total of nine charges, including violation of the Act on the Aggravated Punishment of Specific Economic Crimes (embezzlement), violation of the Food Sanitation Act, violation of the Act on Special Cases Concerning the Punishment of Sexual Crimes (filming using cameras, etc.), violation of the Act on the Punishment of Acts of Arranging Sexual Traffic (prostitution mediation), and habitual gambling.
Seungri has admitted only to the charge of violating the Foreign Exchange Transactions Act among the multiple charges, denying the rest.
