Hurim Robot, Increasing Requests for 'Smart Electronic Entry Quarantine Solution' Adoption... "Full-Scale Mass Production"

[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunseok Yoo] Hurim Robot has completed the domestic patent application for its independently developed ‘Smart Electronic Entry Quarantine Solution’ in October last year and is starting full-scale mass production.

Hurim Robot announced on the 14th that it has completed the patent application for the ‘Smart Electronic Entry Quarantine Solution (model numbers HG-100, HG-200)’ and has begun mass production of the product.

The smart electronic entry quarantine solution starting mass production this time is an improved product of the ‘Smart Electronic Entry Quarantine Solution’ unveiled last month at the ‘2020 International Motion Control Industry Exhibition’ held at COEX. Hurim Robot enhanced user convenience so that visitors can use it without separate guidance.

A Hurim Robot official said, “It perfectly reflects the COVID-19 quarantine guidelines of the Ministry of Health and Welfare, enabling ▲mask-wearing detection ▲temperature measurement ▲electronic entry log management using the public QR code through a single device,” adding, “Since AI technology is applied, it can detect improper mask-wearing such as covering only the mouth or hanging the mask on the chin, and through network connection, real-time electronic entry log management using the public QR code is possible.”

He continued, “By applying a non-contact infrared thermometer certified as a medical device in Korea, it has higher measurement accuracy than low-cost Chinese products,” and added, “Although it is a contactless method, it shows excellent fever check performance with an error range within 0.2℃ in the main temperature measurement range of 36~39℃.”

As the spread of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) continues and entry management is becoming increasingly important, using the smart electronic entry quarantine solution allows the entry management procedure, which was previously conducted in three steps, to be integrated and operated on a single device. Inquiries for introduction are increasing mainly in places with high distribution populations such as public institutions and commercial facilities, and Hurim Robot plans to respond to the growing demand through mass production.
