[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Croquis.com, which operates the women's shopping app 'Zigzag,' announced on the 14th that CEO Seo Jeong-hoon participated in the 'Flower Bucket Challenge' to support flower farmers struggling due to the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
Zigzag delivered about 45 air-purifying plants purchased from the flower market to four facilities related to single mothers, including 'Aeranwone' and the 'Korea Single-Parent Family Welfare Counseling Center.'
The Flower Bucket Challenge is a public campaign started to help flower farmers facing economic difficulties due to the cancellation of offline events caused by COVID-19. It is conducted in a relay format, and CEO Seo participated in the challenge last month after being nominated by Job Planet CEO Hwang Hee-seung.
CEO Seo said, "I participated in the challenge with the hope of helping flower farmers going through a difficult time, even if just a little," and added, "We plan to carry out more active activities to support marginalized women." CEO Seo recommended CEO Park Young-sik of SG Dinehill, a food service company, as the next participant in the Flower Bucket Challenge.
