[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Chaeseok] Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO) announced on the 11th that it held a company-wide contest for outstanding proactive work cases under the supervision of the Audit Office.
The contest was promoted to discover excellent field cases in areas such as safety, environment, coexistence, and public service improvement, share them company-wide, and realize social value.
As a result of the contest, a total of 45 outstanding cases were discovered, including "Early detection of signs of tower collapse risk and prevention of large-scale property accidents in power facilities."
Choi Young-ho, KEPCO's Standing Auditor, said, "We will continue to discover outstanding cases in the future" and added, "We will do our best to improve public services through proactive and creative work promotion."
