Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries Secures LNG Ship Order Worth 198.9 Billion KRW from Liberia-Based Shipping Company

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Daehyun] Hyundai Heavy Industries Holdings announced on the 11th that its subsidiary, Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries, has signed a contract to build one LNG (liquefied natural gas) carrier with a Liberia-based shipping company.

The contract amount is 198.9 billion KRW. This corresponds to 5.7% of the sales revenue as of 2019. The contract period is until August 1, 2023.
